We had the most amazing stay at this very nice eco lodge on a working farm. The cabin was cosy and had everything we needed. The craftsmanship and beauty of the woodwork was nice. The drive to the lodge was filled with winding roads and amazing views. We enjoyed a picnic at the Shropshire visitor center before check-in. The tranquility and lack of modern gadgets allowed us to disconnect and be at one with ourselves. We slept under the candles and fairy lights, feeling like we were in a fairytale. The log burner kept us warm and cozy, but we did have to open the windows for some cool air. Despite the minor inconvenience of needing to find a local shop for milk, our hosts were so accommodating and would have happily provided us with some. The environmentally friendly toilet took a bit of getting used to, but it added to the unique experience. The hosts were warm and friendly, our stay was perfect. The breakfast was tasty and served with a smile.

Had the most magical Xmas escape! Lovely host Trevor created a beautiful, toasty hobbit house with comfy bed. No mud, easily cooled down, and amazing features like the rope in the wooden floor. Peaceful and private, with just birds and the occasional cow. Perfect way to celebrate our engagement!
Forgot milk, but should have asked hosts. Environmentally friendly toilet took getting used to, but it was part of the experience.
